This page explains how to delete your account in The Upper Seat, the barbershop app by The Upper Seat LLC on the App Store and Google Play, and what happens to your data.
You are signed out on every device straight away, and the account can no longer be used to sign in or book.
Email privacy@theupperseat.nyc with the subject "Delete my account". Send it from the email address on your account, or include the phone number on your account, so we can find it. We delete the account and reply to confirm.
Your account data is your name, email address, phone number, preferences, booking and payment history, and the saved card token.
We keep your account data for up to 12 months after closure so we can honor refunds and resolve disputes. To have it deleted sooner, email privacy@theupperseat.nyc.
Booking and payment records are kept without your personal details for tax and accounting. Records of your consent to receive text messages are kept for 4 years after closure as proof of that consent.
Your full card number is never stored on our servers. Square, our payment processor, keeps its own records of past payments under its own policy.
