Terms of Service

The Upper Seat · Effective May 30, 2026

By creating an account or booking a visit with The Upper Seat, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. Booking & cancellation

Bookings require a card on file. Cancellations within 24 hours of the visit incur a $20 late-cancel fee. No-shows are charged the deposit held at booking. You can reschedule freely up to 24 hours before the visit.

2. Memberships

Memberships bill monthly on the day you joined. Unused monthly benefits do not roll over. You may cancel at the next renewal — your benefits remain active until that date.

3. Points & rewards

Points are earned on qualifying visits and purchases and expire 12 months after they are earned. Points have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may be revoked in cases of fraud or chargeback.

4. Gift cards

Gift cards are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash except where required by law. Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced.

5. Conduct

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone behaving disrespectfully toward our team or other guests.

6. Liability

The Upper Seat is not liable for personal items left in the shop. Please raise any concern about a service with your barber immediately so we can address it in the chair.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be surfaced in the app before they take effect.
